I want to take a moment and tell you all about something that is touching my heart. I feel extremely blessed to know the person who started this. A friend of mine started a page on Facebook just a couple of days ago that is called Simply Helping. Here is a description of her mission…..Our mission is to brighten up someone’s day…lift their spirits…lend them a hand…offer words of encouragement…put a smile on their face…make them feel special, cared for, thought about…and meet needs where we can…
Here is how she plans to do this ~ It’s quite simple, really…you private message her with the name and mailing address of the individual or family that you would like to see blessed and she goes to work….and it’s FREE! She and those who are helping will be sending a smile, a note, a special little something to brighten the persons day. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE GOING TO YOUR MAIL BOX…the actual physical one outside…and receiving an unexpected surprise!!! Something tangible…something that took thought, planning and you can actually hold it in your hands. Know that all information shared is kept in confidence and that she places a high priority on privacy…she does not need specific details, as there are no requirements to be met…just love to be shared!
So my friends since starting this just a few days ago she has already sent many smiles and I know that many hearts will be warm because of her. I am proud and very moved by what she is doing and I am excited to spread the news to all of you.
